>>78871018

>>78871146
Jackie Brown is his best though
>>78871146
No Jackie Brown isn't one
>>78871018
reservoir dogs is the only remotely good one, and he completely ripped that off from another movie
everything he's made since is disgusting exploitation porn.

It's funny because tarantino has never made a "good" movie.
I shouldn't fault you guys, because I know a lot of /tv/ posters are young and are just getting into film, but you should really be watching 1-2 a day before you can have an opinion on the medium.
>>78870985
Literally never made a bad movie.

It has to be. After that he turned into a over budget shlock director who hinged on revenge for his plot.
Sure I like how he made westerns that didn't cost 5 million to make. But damn do I wish they were made by a different person.

He's actually never made a terrible movie, though he has never made a great one either. His films are all "good", some better than others (Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs) but he's never made anything that is absolutely great in all ways. Did he influence an entire generation of filmmakers? Yes. Does he make successful commercially viable films that make back their budget? Yes. So, the question is not whether he has ever made a good movie, but are the movies he's made actually better than just "good".
Either way, I really hate this new trend of shitting on Tarantino because he's too popular for some folks.
