The one with ablative armor.

Remember that time Kes decided to run around the ship being an edgy goth
>>64982876

>>64984025
Top kek
>>64984025
The episode had barely anything to do with the rhyme, even without the giant stone cock.
same character or different?
>>64984514
Same they just killed it twice
>>64983616
>fan made ships
may as well wipe stinky poo over the screen
I miss the T'pol screencaps spammer.
>>64984560
>Akira
>fanmade
Fucking wot
>>64983049
It's strange, the actresses themselves are pretty average but when they dress like that my cock goes into orbit.
The same with B'elanna, she looks vastly better in full makeup, maybe I have a Klingon fetish.
>>64984641
i've been watching the movies so new ent episodes are on hold
>>64984812
Glad to hear it.
>>64984825
i plan on screencapping tpol through the whole series so that should be several months of her kek
what would you ask this dumb asian at a star trek con panel regarding her experiences during the show?
>9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11
>>64985096
I would ask her why her dad thought a salmon, crab and mayo were a good combination for a pizza.
>>64984869
>several months
Here's to the next several months than.
>>64985183
why do the JJ Abrams movies have this kind of strange cyber punk future look that feels weird in Star Trek
>>64985281
He simplifies Trek so that things don't require explanation. Starfleet becomes a naval military organisation rather than an exploration scientific one. Notice how Pike tells Kirk to 'enlist' in Starfleet, whereas in every Trek show it's 'apply' to the Academy. It's all done through use of vocabulary like that or background visuals, like the peaked caps in the pic.
>>64984429
Aah the episode was about an android girl?
Actually one of my favourite TOS episodes
>>64985355
The peaked caps felt out of place for Starfleet; we've never seen them use those before in the entire show. Why were they all dressed like Marines? What happened to "dress uniforms"?
>>64985445
Literally what I just said, JJ uses visuals and vocabulary changes to create familiar environments for normies so that the nature of Starfleet isn't questioned by them. By making Starfleet military normies are able to understand things like command hierarchy with ease.
>>64983918
The video's even better...
The big Lurch dude from The Addams Family is calling out to him in a woman's voice as he clutches his stony manhood...
It's like a /d/ scenario on Star Trek...
>>64982876
>>64985472
fucking normies
>>64985867
Fucking normies. Looking at the pic again, there are glass skyscrapers because 'it's the future' and that's what normies need to understand that it's the future. But if you watch the Trek shows, whenever they go to Earth it's much more low key. We see New Orleans restaurants, French vineyards, and Starfleet headquarters looks like a botanical garden. That's what stands out to me aside from the peaked cap and the gross blue filter.
>implying it could be anything else
>>64985922
tng and ds9 do shit like that because it turns out actually creating the future outside costs a lot of fucking money.
>>64984560
lol The Akira class was in First contact,DS9 and at the end of Voyager.
>>64986028
>First contact,DS9 and at the end of Voyager.
None of those are canon.
>>64985553
Well now I've got to hunt down a copy of that episode.
>>64982589
Gotta agree with you there. Its a shame the Dominion War didn't drag on with the Breen just hanging on like the Japanese.
>>64985975
too bad she was only in bad movies
>>64984514
The first one on the right is somehow creepier for some reason then the second one on the left.
>>64986039
Ok JJ.
>>64986096
That's fair.
>>64982315
i'm so sad these don't exist
they also look like engineering nightmares, with thrusters off center and connected to the hull by thin bits
>>64985281
I just hope that all the SJW online bitching doesn't effect our chances of getting some fan service in this summers new film.
>>64986161
My problem with this scene isn't anything SJW related.
It's that it was shot specifically for the trailer, so they could be like PEW PEW ACTION DUDE THIS IS SO COOL- WOAHHH?? DID YOU SEE THAT CHICK GET NAKED?? FUCKING AWESOME BRO
>>64985562
Why did she have to age. So sad.
>>64986160
Ya, the Enterprise D looks comfy as fuck.
>no sci-fi ships have solar panels
muh warp core
>>64986207
of course you like the D
>>64986160
We'll get there anon, will get there.
Just not in our life time.
>>64986096
>First Contact
>Bad
Warp 9.kek
>>64982830
Transfer to the Defiant
>>64983170
Its..a...siskotalkslikekirk episode!
>>64985975
I don't understand how this could be not only a flagship but even an exploration vessel. Did they just have Picard sit in this as a kind of early retirement vessel and they called it Enterprise to shut him up?
In fact I noticed in general how the ships in the show steadily became more grimdark and militarized. The Sovereign class looks like some kind of interceptor instead of a ship of peace.
>>64986334
Bear in mind that it was built in the midst of the Dominion War.
>>64986334
Yea, it was even loaded with quantum torpedo launchers.
>>64986325I find First Contact to be somewhat overrated; yeah it does have good character moments but it is the start of "dude action Picard and his wacky buddy Data lmao" and the movie begins with an insane space battle but fails to live up to that in the rest which is a mostly slow, quiet film a la Undiscovered Country, not that that's bad or anything it just feels disappointing
>>64986290
yeah not soon enough unless space travel tech improves exponentially in the next 40-50 years
>>64986334
>streamlined galaxy class for picard to rape with.
>>64986432
SS-Choad
You can't deny that it had a certain appeal to it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HNtfu_QurU
>>64986527
Who's denying it? That music still gets every time.
>>64986353
The show made a consistent point that even in wartime Starfleet wasn't going to become a military thing. Yeah the Defiant is an exception but I guess it proves my point that over time Star Trek ship design changedI'd argue for historicism reasons.
That sounds stupid but its the rules of the show.
>>64986432
Picard was never a rapey captain. Maybe this was some admirals plan to make him more aggressive and likely to genocide the Borg by making him have better toys. It clearly worked.
>>64986527
It was consistently the best part of the show. It's probably the best Trek opening.
>>64986672
Nah, that was just propoganda within the show.
Plenty of alien races lampshaded this when they'd laugh at Starfleet officers insisting that they weren't a military organisation.
Of course they were.
>It's a shipper's dream episode
>>64986401
>Ayyliums land
>jack their shit
>begin interstellar conquest
>>64986161
THIS
new trek is like american pie of trek
>every scene is a trailer in itself
>>64987383 was meant for
>>64986185
>>64982264
>ctrl +f Cochrane
>no transwarp capable ship
>The original filming model of the Enterprise-D sold at Christies for $500,000
That makes it the best ship
>>64987496
>The Refit model built for TMP only sold for half of that amount
:(
>>64985975
>>64987545
>sci fi fans like the most advanced / powerful ship with a full series.
never would have guessed.
what a fucking beautiful ship
