Jar Jar REALLY brings it down, like, 2 points. If the movie was a 10/10, it'd be an 8.

Really though, The movie was like a 6 at best. Also, child Anakin scenes suck. Trade Politics suck. And Pod Racing is hit or miss with some people. Like, I know some people consider it a plus, but others think its annoying filler.

Your positive points are mostly legit, but the negatives just hit TOO hard.

The rampant and terrible CGI and dialogue kinda ruined the prequels for me. TFA was derivative, but it was also coherent and much more engaging and interesting than the prequels, at least for me.

Phantom Menace was pretty good visually and atmospherically, tho. If I want a comfy Star Wars movie, then its probably #2, after only A New Hope. See >>64508660 as for why.

But to be honest I don't count any of the new ones as "real" star wars except maybe Revenge of the Sith. PM is a disney movie, RofC is total crap, I couldn't even stand watching all of it.

Aaand the first three has to be the original model effect version, the computer graphics versions is nothing but a rape of the entire series.
