And its not the costs; Harvard is free for people coming from families making less than 50 000 and so on. Same thing in Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Finland, Germany, wherever. And that is why there are so many shitty b-movies. My brother works for a small studio so they make a lot of b-movies, and a few arthouse films. He says about half the producers and executive producers on these movies put in a bunch of friends and family. One film he was on the lead actress was a producers girlfriend, and she was just awful, but no one was allowed to do anything about it or complain or they would lose their job.
