I know "underrated" causes involuntary retching these days, but of all the countless movies I've seen TROA is my pick for most underrated.

>>64488997
HAVE A GOOD ONE!!
>>64488976
Fun fact about that movie is that they filmed the opening party scene on 9/11. Aside from being ridiculously fitting to the themes of the movie, on my most recent (umpteenth) viewing I realized at the end of the movie the way they introduce the party is "The End of the World" with "Party" showing up after a few seconds delay. I had never made that connection before and it freaked me the fuck out.
>>64489130
The slamming on the table while he says this is so perfect. Best one scene wonder of all time.
FYI man, alright. You could sit at home, and do like absolutely nothing, and your name goes through like 17 computers a day. 1984? Yeah right, man. That's a typo. Orwell is here now. He's livin' large. We have no names, man. No names. We are nameless!

>>64489300
i have seen it but it has been a little while.
>>64489131
It was clever how they did that - translated well (and quite literally) from the book.
>>64489200
me too brotha
>>64489370
I'd say it's a strong contender for best literary adaptation. Especially since it changed a lot and still directly channeled the essence of the book.

I initially got a copy that had no subtitles and I still watched this scene at least 4 times. By that point I felt like Banderas in 13th Warrior, I was able to understand almost every word and I don't speak a lick of Deutsch. One of my favorite scenes of all time.

Fucking love the animation and music.
Can't believe nobody's posted this yet.
Can watch the whole trilogy. Usually tired/drunk enough that by the time Pt.3 gets rolling I don't care how dippy it gets.
But all in all, this trilogy has been a very safe, comfy place for me since childhood.
>>64499561
Belle is easily top 3 Disney princess, she fell in love with an ugly beast because he had a kind heart, she was not attracted to Chads and also risked her life to save her father. This movie was also the first animated film to ever win an Oscar.
>>64488682
