There's a video of GG and the Jabbers playing a short set (I believe it was lip synced, how things change huh?) for MTV circa '81. I don't know exactly what it was used for nor the details behind it, but it's an interesting look at pre-junkie GG. It becomes very clear how GG evolved and where the stage antics he was later known for came from. Even pre-spiral his stage presence was exceptionally energetic, raucous even. Even if you despise GG and think of him a complete fuck you have to admit he never compromised himself or his vision of what punk rock was. He stayed a scum-fuck till the end. Never would I condone what he did however.
