Haggle for everything. There are no fixed prices, and especially if you're white they will try to swindle you, because they'll consider you to be an easy target.

Most unpleasant city in the country. Only reason to go there is there's a good backpacker/hostel scene. I've had some nice times there drinking on hostel roofs with German backpacker cuties, otherwise it's nothing more than a transport hub for me.
Good jumping-off point for the mountains.

You can do Marrakech in like 2 days. I would spend more time in the rest of the country. I enjoyed my loop:
