The park area past the big ass bridge was nice. Think it was near the university on the island. I don't recall the names.
I'll share a few pics from my trip. It was just 5 days but was one of my favorite vacations.

What was your full trip? Did you fly in and out of Vladivostok, or were you coming / going somewhere else?
>>1288243
I lived in Tongyeong, Korea for two years, teaching. The flight from Busan to Vladivostok was 50 minutes and I met my Russian friends randomly out bar hopping and clubbing in Busan. I went to visit because of them. After the vacation I was back in Korea for a few more months until my contract was finished.
We still chat sometimes via instagram but I'm back in America teaching now and they're living life over there. Always bittersweet when I make friends like that but it's not the first nor the last. I'll never stop I imagine.
Also, the visa was really tedious to get so be prepared for that.
>>1288246
how did you get the visa not being in America? I was trying to get a visa to vladivostok while living in Japan and it was impossible
>>1288382
I think you can just get one from an embassy. Best I remembered when I applied for mine (not that anon I applied in the US) there was nothing that required you to actually be at the embassy or anything.
>>1288382
There was a Russian embassy in Busan. I did all the bureaucratic paperwork, gave them my passport to drop off and a money transfer. Picked up my passport with my visa the following week. Costed around 100 bucks I can't remember.
OP, i always wondered this hahaha, especially that long stretch up no the top right of the pic houses.
That are is very high up on my wishlist, too bad my travel buddies are 'poor', and we always end up in SEA.
>>1288237
more random pics, please!
I was thinking about going to Vladisvostok for a few days on a roundtrip over a break from Sapporo.
Has anyone been to the Kurils, Sakhalin, or Russian far arctic? I think it'd be pretty neat to go even farther north.

Jewish Autonomous Oblast
>>1288058
That's where the tigers are.
>>1288466 I take it you're an aussie? I always end up in a similar situation
Many nations from the pacific region can now get e-visa to Vladivostok btw, it is issued online, the whole process is a 100% simpler. But not Americans who keep restricting issuing visas to Russians.
>>1289676
We do that for a reason, though -- everyone "visits" the U.S. and then overstays for a decade. Russia is still a poor enough country that every whore in Siberia would move to Vegas if she could just get a visa-on-arrival.
>>1289282
We are Eastern European, just the relatively priviliged kind.
>>1288651
Ok
