The mountains and the food are heavenly.

Certainly, check the Siebenburgen and the Carpathians.
Great country to visit! Food is good, nature in Carpathians is nice, Bucharest women in clubs are mindbogglingly hot... If you can spend money in clubs (like book a table with bottle of premium ), dress sharply, you should be impressing the babes. Generally I think its a great country, just be careful to avoid parts of cities where gypsies reside... You will be robbed before you can blink..

I just came back from 3 weeks of touring. And I can say that the nature is very nice, and the mountainrange spanning basically a third of the country makes for good views. the beaches are busy, but doable. watch out for your wallet and phone though.
Cluj-Napoca is a wonderful younger city, with a rich history.
Bucharest, found it a bit meh, but stayed there only very short.
Constanta is nice, but overcrowded as fuck

Spent about 5 days on the trip there. Nice city, safe, student city with i believe multiple big universities. because of this there is a big group of people who speak english, alot of clubs, pubs, and other party possibilities.
in the architecture you can see that the city was wealthy in it's history, churches look sharp and nice historical centre

Is worth visiting, Carpathian mountains and Danube delta is a must, especially Danube delta, trust me when I tell you that you won't find anything resembling Danube delta anywhere in Europe. As for the mountain side of the country, just think about this, each subcategory of Carpathian mountains is different between them, so if you visit one side of the mountains the next one will be different. Also we have many isolated villages that conserve very well our heritage and traditions, not the bullshit you hear about on TV, my recommendation will be to search on youtbe " Pe poteci, spre inima ta! " it's a romanian dude that travells all around the Carpathian mountains, even if you won't be able to understand anything at least you get to see more of not so mainstream places to visit, as for Danube delta just search it and see for yourself.
