Greetings /trv/, I need to get the fuck out of California.

Unfortunately I have little money, an unfinished Bachelors in Computer Science and little job experience besides three years in McDonalds.

What's the best state to consider in this case? Colorado interests me, but the elevation causes concern in me.

Wtf? You're worried about the elevation? It's fine, your body will be used to it in a month. Hell, unless you are going over 7000' elevations you probably won't notice anything.
Your real problem is that I don't know what Colorado would offer you in terms of work that California doesn't. Maybe go to a gas state and work rigs or oil fields? Unfortunately those areas are fuck ass boring, and I don't know how that industry is doing anymore what with cheap energy prices, used to be they would take anyone and everyone.
