Balboa Park has like 20 different museums in a row and you can buy a week long pass to all of them. And there's restaurants, fountains and flower gardens and playgrounds and shit. You can definitely spend a few days there.

Go look at seals at Children's Pool in La Jolla and walk around the shops up around there.
