Can people explain to me why americans care about that arch? It seems like a boring thing to have as the image of the city.
As far as I'm concerned they're both in a race to the bottom. One of them might win, but they both suck.
Fuckin asshole friends keep getting married out there. Had a wedding in Chicago and a homey that used to live in St Louis so I had to visit both places. Then he got out and moved to San Francisco for one of those techbro jobs and at least visiting norcal is nice, but he's gonna move back to Saint Louis and marry his fiance there and I can't fucking get out of it because I'm the best man.
Fucking midwest man, it doesn't just suck, it sucks you back in.
I live in STL. I actually love living here, it's not too crazy but still get he city feel and the food is amazing. If you are a tourist, there isn't much here except to see the arch and forest park.
Been to Chicago a couple of times, really liked it, but everything is expensive.
STL>Chicago

It's the gateway to the west idk. It's pretty boring, but I guess worth a visit.

STL is just a shitty version of KC, and neither are very impressive, why would you even compare it to Chicago?
Boston or Houston would be more logical competition for Chicago.
