I'm planning a trip around West Coast USA, taking in San Francisco, LA, Seattle, and a few more places if possible and I'll be in the US this August. Does anyone know which are the best places to visit and stay around the west coast? I'd really appreciate any of your advice.
Hey OP, California native checking in.
The whole state is really worth seeing and very beautiful. Lots of diverse geography and towns here. I would personally recommend Santa Cruz as being a really unique place to stop and check out. Great mix of redwood forests, surf town, and a college town.
For nature, Big Sur is hard to beat. It's just insanely majestic. My Shasta & Humboldt country is pretty amazing too.
For Oregon, check out Ashland. Sweet little town, lots of vibe to it. Of course Eugene & Portland are great too.
