Is the Vicksburg National Military Park really nice?

I'm kind of interested in visiting it, but it would probably be a two day trip (back-and-forth) from where I am in Florida and I'm not sure if it's worth it.

I think it's nice. lots of interesting history. Its fun to ride a bike up and down the hills to traverse the park. If you want to hike around that's fun too. May want to go when it's cooler.

Alabama neighbor here. My only problem with Mississippi is the fucking roads.

Other than that, biloxi is fun. Oxford is a fun college scene, especially during football season.
I dated a girl who went to Ole Miss. Had a blast every time I went up there.

Haven't seen to many roll bars actually but there are a lot of pick ups. There are places like you describe, a good bit, but that's more Louisiana than Mississippi. Fishing is really big here though. We have the only good shrimp in the country and the largest catfish industry. We are also heavily agricultural of course.

As for wogs, well, there's a reason we are usually on the bottom of every statistic...

Not many qts to be honest. A lot of the women here are unattractive af. Either way too fat or smelling like smoke all the time. The best ones are the slightly chubby Christian white chicks.

As far as festivals places like Tupelo have great music concerts and the coast has the Crawfish music festival. Of course we have Mardis Gras, which is definitely the best time to come. That is when the best music is playing and the temperature is just right. The food is good anytime.

Just don't tell it to anyone over 50. We aren't as crazy as they make us out to be.

When I visit my family in cali, I have to say that i'm from New Orleans or else whoever i meet will immediately look down on me, it's happened to many times to count, and just for fun I like to say I'm from Mississippi and I can see it in people's eyes, like "look at this hillbilly cousin fucker"

And that's not even in the big cities, i stayed in Santa Maria and they constantly acted like they were the superiors ones, with down talking and whatnot

College in state tuition mainly. They also give out HUGE scholarships here compared to other places. I'm talking a full ride with a 28 ACT in somePlaces. Am going away afterwards though. Not a good state for my field. Which is also a reason why we are poor and uneducated. Our college graduates have better opportunities out of state. We have great community colleges tho

No. Many of them do great work and they have tight knit church communities. The older they are the better they are. But it is a reality that many of them, specifically in the delta region and Jackson, drag the state down. Of course the whites in the delta aren't much help either. You'll find that the most racism against blacks is in areas that are majority black.
