Because Virginia has all the decent port cities/naval revenue, Baltimore has all the DC jobs, NJ has the atlantic city, Philadelphia has the economy.

The whole bay area is filled with illegals that no one wants to look into because it keeps the farms going.

Farms could work just fine if the owners and the government weren't just passing the bill along. Farms pay less than market wages for labor, requires illegal labor to operate. Emergency services and education foot the bill from illegals. State government takes money from national government to operate. National government bills the taxpayer by running up debt. All because that product in the grocery store could be 10c cheaper.
