Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore

Singapore: Why would you even consider this? It's just a shitload of malls, and it's hot as fuck. Nothing redeeming about it as a travel destination.

Taiwan: Cute girls, lots of nature in a small area, genuinely really friendly people, and most people in Taipei speak at least basic english. Most liveable place in Asia.

Japan: The best out of these for travel, by far. The culture and sights are fascinating, the people are interesting to meet, the rail infrastructure is unmatched so it's crazy easy to hop around on bullet trains around the country with a rail pass. Girls aren't as easy if that's your thing though.

If you have narrowed it down to these three you are probably boring as fuck. So do whichever one you want, it will be subpar as far as asia goes.

Have been to all three recently. Well, compared to size Taiwan and Sigapore are compared to Japan smaller. Someone mentioned the hot weather for Singapore, which is true but also depends when you go. Singapore is on the top destination list of several travel guides (lonely planet, TUI, etc) since 5y. So expect crowds around marina bay and the financal district.

Taiwan has several places to offer, as well as good infrastructure. Since a good buch of tourists reside only at the capital you probably have a good time in the south or east of the island.

Japan is basically to big to list all the possibilities of the 4 main islands.

If you have only days for your vacation, TW or SG if you have 2 weeks or more JP

Japan is one of the most fascinating countries in the world and everyone should visit it at least once in their lives.

If you're one of those people who like to tally the number of countries they've been to, Singapore is a really easy country to do.

If you really enjoy food, Singaporean food is pretty damn tasty.

Also, Singapore has the very bad reputation of being socially autistic. While that sounds annoying, it also kind of sounds interesting.

ive been to all three but will put in a word for singapore as it gets unjustly ripped by people who dont spend any time there exploring and think its boring. there are plenty of neighborhoods to explore, great food and fun like palau ubin, sentosa beaches, temples, gardens on bay futureworld park, wacky har paw villa, art gallery district and yes those shopping malls. its great for a few days and thee best jump off for other sea countries. also, not boring. unless you dont like clubs, booze, casinos and hooker bars. just dont do drugs because if u get caught with that expect a speedy trial & hung by neck on the next friday.

Depends what you're hoping to get out of your trip and what kind of environment you like

Taiwan has the blessing of being relatively unknown so it's not as touristy. But if you want to get off the beaten trail, like if you want to do some island hopping, you might struggle unless you know some Chinese. Also it's the cheapest place of the three, especially for food. They are proud of their food and you'll either love it or hate it.

Like someone else said you have to go to Japan at some point in your life. It's just so different to our society whilst still being an advanced country, and given its size there is a lot of cool things to see.

Singapore is nice in it's own right. I'd put it as a good place to chill out for a while and experience life in a rather unique city.
