I disagree a hot dog is pretty much just a hot dog no matter what you put on it.

But there are few Foods in the world not only as delicious but also as satisfying as Chicago deep dish pizza. When you eat it it makes you feel very good to your core. Does the hotel you're staying in have a refrigerator and microwave?

If so get there smallest Pizza eat half today and save the rest for tomorrow. Truth be told I don't really have much experience in this area because I'm a fat ass and when I travel and have the opportunity to eat new foods moderation just goes out the window and I binge eat/drink everything alone.

Go for a gyro while you're in Chicago as well OP, and don't stress about eating alone in a restaurant, if you're so anxious about looking like a loser, play the dumb tourist with your waiter

Fuck deep dish, go to Bongiorno's Cucina Italiana & Pizzeria, near the trump tower down town. I ate there 4 times in 3 days when in was in there for a conference.
