My visa for tourism in Uzbekistan has finally been approved, but I may be fucked in terms of being able to go. I need to depart for my flight July 8th, and the embassy seems to be closed not only today but also tomorrow, and USPS's shipping will take 2-3 days so it's not likely that I'll be able to get my passport back in time. Is there anything I can do? I'm rather stressed out about the matter.
you can always go to the embassy yourself...

How so? Was it delayed?
Send your mom.

Could be difficult if OP is far away from it. Maybe there are consulates somewhere close though, if the embassy is out of reach.

And? Did you make it?

Yeah he did, they're pretty good about that which is why they ask you to initially do it in a few months. So long as he paid for expedited processing he should be good. That he hasn't replied to here is a good sign as well. I wonder if he knows how to use the computers over there. It took me 15-20 minutes to figure out how to type my password in France
