I'm going to Florence for a few days this week so I'm looking for suggestions on where to go, or general tips.
Mostly just looking for art, museums, food and coffee, but any suggestion is appreciated.

Hit up the Duomo

Palazzo Pitti's museum is awesome. Unusual, but awesome.

Seconded. Also it's much less crowded than Uffizi or Academia.
If you're staying longer OP you can always hop on a train and explore some other cities. But if you're only staying for a couple days I'd just do the standard circuit
If you have some time then take some trains and also visit Lucca, Pistoia, Siena and Pisa.
If you want to go north you can see Bologna, which isn't generally well known as an international tourist city.
