I do have a car, but I go to school in Boston about 700 miles from home. And a student doesn't really need a car in Boston because public transportation is stout. So I've flown to and from school mostly. But when I came home this summer I rented a car, and got hit with fees out my ass.

wat
I'm 23 and have traveled to 35 countries since 2013.
Done a fair amount of traveling with friends in the United States, too. Never had any problems.
Car rental fees can suck, but that's part of life.
