I finally managed to get a visa for a job abroad! Anyways, I'm Mexican and I'd like to take ingredients to cook in the UK. They involve sauces and powders, and so on. I'm planning on taking everything that doesn't involve liquids in my hand luggage.
Am I likely to get in trouble? I mean I'm pretty much travelling with about 3kg worth of white powders (creatine, and tortilla flour). I'm kind of scared they'd think of it as being drugs, as my nationality lends itself to stereotypes.
Should I be concerned?

Depende mucho de como va a ser tu vuelo, si es directo de México al Reino Unido, existe una posbilidad de que lo logres, si vas a tener una escala en Estados Unidos u otro país, olvídalo. Mejor metelos en la maleta que vas a registrar, esto no elimina la probabilidad de que te la abran y te lo confisquen pero es la manera más económica ya que la única otra manera en la que podrías hacerlo es si alguien desde México te manda las cosas por DHL o Fedex y normalmente eso es muy caro.

There are a surprisingly high number of people from Central America living and working in the UK, you can just buy everything you need online when you move to the UK, or find a specialist shop if it's close enough. Just google mexican groceries UK. Use the limited luggage weight for something else.

Op here Yeah, I've lived in the UK before and can confirm in regard to grocery shops. But they tend to be very expensive.
Furthermore, most of my stuff is already in the UK as I studied for university there. There's nothing else I could use my luggage for.

La manera más sencilla para ir al Reino Unido es aplicar a un programa de inglés que te permita calificar para una visa de estudiante que te permita trabajar. Cuando yo viví en Londres mucha gente hacía esto, sin embargo no puedes faltar casi nunca a tus clases de ingles porque podría ser motivo de cancelación de visa. Esto también aplica para Irlanda.
