As someone fairly young (22), I'd be worried about meeting some dude who is like 43 and thinks that having fun is getting drunk at a hostess bar somewhere then fucking prostitutes all night. I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoy a party and they can do what they please, but I'm not into that sort of shit and just think it would be a really uncomfortable experience. Unfortunately /trv/ attracts a lot of those kinds of people...

I actually planned to meet some guys off /trv/ before but it fell through. I ended up meeting some dude of the travel board on reddit and hung out with him for 2 days, an absolute chiller and good dude all round that took me on a tour. The Reddit travel board is much more travel orientated tbqh, here we get a whole bunch of people that enjoy different types of activities. Quite a bit of the stuff here is borderline travel orientated, asking about which bar has the best prostitutes or where to get drugs in X or which clubs are the best at x location.

Like I'm not saying that accidentally meeting some middle aged man that is only interested in getting drunk and fucking young girls in Phuket is going to be a bad, but I'm not surprised that some younger guys would be a tad apprehensive (let alone any girls that browse this board).
