It looks beautiful despite being so densely populated. By all accounts the people are ultra-friendly and the food must be awesome. I'd go to Bangla before I went to India, if everything I've heard about both places is true.

You can take riverboat cruises in the mangroves, that's about it. Pretty boring and uncomfortable place to visit.

There is a higher risk of being kidnapped by muslim fanatics there, that's about it.
