Has anyone else been there as an adult? I only went as a kid and I don't remember any of these

What's the best restaurant and why is it the Blue Bayou?
>>1233471

>>1233473
It's the one inside Pirates of the Caribbean.
>>1233471

>>1233471
I have a soft spot for the Sci-Fi Drive-in in MGM/Hollywood Studios, mostly for the atmosphere, but their shakes are gud

I went about five years ago as a grown ass man. I went with my mom since she wanted to go, but my dad and wife didn't. We went to Universal, Harry Potter and all of Disney except Animal Kingdom and had a great time.
>>1233554
Animal Kingdom is great. You should try to go back there once Avatarland opens
>>1233467
Might as well go on a vacation to an IKEA ballpit.
>>1233469
I was there last week. With my kids, 13 and 15.

This is why the original thread on /tv/ had 330 replies, this board doesn't appreciate park kino.
>>1233639
You are cancer.
>>1233467
>Tfw missed riding the Rock n' Rollercoaster when I was younger due to fear of looping coasters
>Since then I've ridden many of them but haven't had any money to go back
rip

Walt was still designing EPCOT while suffering from a tumor in his lung larger than your fat head.
Also, having now visited /trv/, are you guys anything more than /soc/? Every other thread is "how do I get laid/drugs in Philly/Budapest/Narobi."
>>1233652
>you guys
This isn't reddit, you flaming faggot.
I visit /tv/ too, much to my chagrin seeing as every other fucking thread is gay pedo shit or interracial porn.
The thread in /tv/ was amazing and civil. This is clearly done now that it has moved to another snob board. The fucking entitlement and elitism of board culture is fucking trash.
Much as I love Disney, if you have several days in Florida (and you aren't from here) I would recommend spending only 1 or 2 at Disney/Orlando.
Renting a car and getting cheap hotel rooms is cheaper than--or on par with--days at the park. The Keys are just so beautiful, and if you drive down the Atlantic coast to them you bump into all kinds of neat stuff--the Space center, these little Art Deco style beach towns that look like Norman Rockwell paintings, the whole Miami area (which I have mixed feelings about, but it's still a sight). At the end of that drive is Key West, which I think is the coolest place in the world.
That's my schpiel that I give tourists though. You won't be starved for enjoyment if you do spend a whole week in the parks. There's just a lot of wonder in the surrounding area if you're into that sort of thing.

I'll try to make another one on /tv/ tonight, with an appeal to the mods that themed entertainment is born out of the same tropes as filmmaking (set design, story composition, character and cast member performances)
Thanks /trv/ for somehow failing to live up to a lack of reputation.

>>1233692
/co/'s generally where I go for Disney park threads
>>1233700
Good memes, kiddo.
Perfect disney demographic.
Hey /trv/.
I snapped working at the non-profit. I've been volunteering there for about year without a paycheck because I couldn't find anyone to hire me in my field with my background and education. I'm going no where with my career and I need to reset along with recovering from a recent death of a family relative I endeared. What's going to Disneyland like for a 26 year old white dude? Not going to Disney World because I'm avoiding Florida Man.
>>1233704
You must be fun at hostels
>>1233709
>>1233705
Lots of loser manchildren like you in Anaheim. Go for it.
>>1233716
Dedicated /themepark/ board on 4chan, when?!
>>1233954
not enough people
>>1233692
Maybe you can link to this one at some point. It's a /trv/ topic, no matter how you slice it. Whether this board can support it though... but we have to start somewhere.

You better hurry up m8, I used to work at Hollywood Studios and heard rumors all the time about how they're turning it into "Mickey's Rock & Rollercoaster" which sounds terrible.
