Ok lads, so am going with 3 friends to Poland in the summer.

I will be in Warsaw for 3 days and Krakow for 4 days.

What are some must-do's in Poland?
How is the food scene?
Any favourite restaurants with local food you can recommend?

Mention anything worthwhile really that you liked - museums, casinos, camps etc

>inb4 Auschwitz
Is it worth it? I have heard that it is not that big of a deal.
>>
>>1231249
nah, Auschwitz is bullshit
I mean, they have a pretty nice chamber with human hair. Beside that it's mostly boring. Also, it takes at least two hours to get there from Kraków and usually more to return, so it's a whole day trip.
>>
>>1231253
man
that's like asking about paris and have people tell me the eiffel tower is shit
I should still go, r-right?
>>
>>1231308
Jeez.
do you genuinely care about that stuff?
you do - go
Otherwise don't bother
>>
>>1231249
>Krakow for 4 days.
I would say that is too much time.
Maybe you could try this if it interests you:
Warsaw - 3 days
Lublin - 1 day
Krakow - 3 days
>>
>>1231334
Maybe a day trip to Lublin?
I mean imagine checking out of the hotel at 10:00, taking a 2 hours train ride to Liblin, checking in, only to leave at 10:00 the next morning.
Not worth it imo.
>>
Niezle Ziolko in Warsaw for breakfest .Good place for eating with Polish girls.
Wieliczka underground salt mine near Krakow, which looks like fantasy place with salt church and the chambers, google it.
Warsaw is full of nice places to see.
Royal Castle, Palace of Culture top viewing terrace,Royal tract and Krakowki Rynek.
>>
>>1231644
he missed Kraków's castle. otherwise this. Remember not to pay for the Wieliczka trip in the city. Arrange it yourself, it's going to be 3 times cheaper. Auschwitz trips are for free, so don't pay for those either

Thank you based Polish-bros.

Do polish people speak English? I mean your everyday baker, policeman etc

Is it true that Polish girls are conservative and likely won't be interested in (Greek) tourists?

>>1231663
>Auschwitz trips are for free

What do you mean? There is no ticket to enter?
Do I have to just go there by myself?
>>
>>1231249
in Kraków's Kazimierz neighbourhood check out Marchewka z Groszkiem for inexpensive traditional Polish food

for the best pierogi in town visit Przypiecek in the Old Town, near the Florianska Gate
>>
>>1231697
>Is it true that Polish girls are conservative and likely won't be interested in (Greek) tourists?
pretend to be rich
> (Greek)
ok, forget it
>>
>>1231697
>girls
no, not conservative. I mean, we have tinder and enough sluts there to satisfy you. Beside that, of course you can find some girls who value themselves way more.

>speak English?
sure, they do. Even if just a little. Everyone below the age of 30 has been taugh it in school, so unless they are complete morons/ socially anxieted they'll help you. Over that age it may be a bit more problematic, but think and try hard and you'll never be hopeless.

>Auschwitz trips
you need to book your tour, and there are only certain hours you can enter at all, but yes, it's free. Check their website.
>>
>>1231737
>ok, forget it

Are you implying there is something wrong with Greeks? Am actually Cypriot

>>1231759
thnx
>>
>>1231773
cut out the pretend to be rich part. nobody would believe you.
>>
>>1231799
>implying the average Greek-Cypriot isn't Germany tier rich
>>
For Warsawa I'd recommend the Warsaw Rising Museum and the Old Town.
Krakow you can't really go wrong with anything, though I do love the salt mine and the castle. Auschwitz was definitely worth seeing, but it will take up a day.
