I'm thinking of traveling here this summer, any recommendations or tips. I want to stay in a more rural region but idk I don't have it planned out yet. I'm only 18 so I won't be able to rent a car, should I even go here?
Great country, you don't need car, you have this marsutka or something like this that will carry you to every corner of the country ; check wikitravel

Use hitchhiking a lot, it's very useful anywhere at Caucasus.

As the other guys have stated marshrutkas are cheap and convenient, but the drivers drive like they'd prefer to die in the next 30 seconds.
the svaneti region. stay in ushguli.
not sure how you'll get there without a 4x4 car but im sure you'll find someone to take you. probably someone in mestia can take you there for a small fee.
it's very rural though. highest inhabited village in europe. the locals live in ancient stone towers and do extreme offroad horse racing.

The border between Europe and Asia passes by the Main Caucasian Range so Georgia geographically is Asia.
That's the attitude of this place? I've googled it and found it's 2200m. Kurush in Dagestan in Russia (and geographically in Europe) is 2560m.
