You shouldn't have any problem getting adderall no idea what the Thailand brand naming will be.

Xanax has been banned for a long time in Thailand now. I used to grab few hundred at a time from Thailand/Indonesia then bring back 3 months worth of maximum dosage by law (Australia) resell and pay for the trip.

Been banned from to many rape cases of this being a factor in apparently.

Do you want to party with some westerners or a bunch of Thais? Looking to fuck hookers or back packers? All this plays into where you want to stay.

I am also headed to Thailand in the very near future for Songkran.

Where is a good place to hookup with quality thai girls that are clean of STD/HIV. Or any recommendation on places to hookup with backpackers.

Most Thai girls are clean. Unless you are delving deep into slum areas. Which you won't because these are the places nobody can speak english and you will actually have to go out of your way to get to.

Khao san road is where you can find local thai's who are looking for western guys, you will also find a lot of western girls. It's the backpacking hub of Asia, probably the biggest backpacking hub of the world. Outside that maybe sukumvit soi 11 and 13 (I think) are other more affluent areas of bangkok. You will find westerners and wealthier thai's here. Avoid places like soi cowboy unless you are looking for a hooker.

Tinder in bangkok will be your best friend, you can find a girl within minutes and be banging in the next hour.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't realize Xanax was illegal there. Last time I was there (2016) a girl I met and traveled with for about a week gave me xanax because I didn't have enough for the flight back. It worked like a charm....what the hell did she give me haha. Said she got it from a pharmacy....any ideas? Just want something to take the edge off of flying.

I am not adverse to crowds, I spent a lot of time in more rural areas last time I was in Thailand so will most likely be aiming for the touristy areas this time around. Mix of Thais and westerners would be nice I think. Not looking for hookers, I tend to do mediocre to okay on backpackers, I enjoy the chase ha.

I don't really want shoulder to shoulder crowds, but also don't really want the tame version of just pouring water of statues, a middle ground is kinda what I'm thinking

Not as easy as it used to be--the country has for decades now been trying to crack down on prescription drug abuse--but it is still sometimes possible to buy Valium over the counter from pharmacies. You will probably get turned away a few times, but the scummier-looking the pharmacy and the more elderly the person behind the counter, the fewer fucks likely to be given.

As an old guy who's been living in Thailand on and off for decades, I have fond memories of buying Valium OTC from the pharmacy counters in bus stations, washing them down with a can of beer from the snack stand next door, and climbing onto overnight buses to pass out.

I've never tried to buy stimulant pharmaceuticals in Thailand, but would actually be really surprised if it were possible--the country has a very, very serious (street) amphetamine problem. So assuming you can't get Adderall you can probably get some other kind of crank from shady sources. I recommend asking hookers.

Oh, the only stimulant I've purchased was ephedrine (sold as an asthma medication/bronchodilator, available OTC in the US until a few years back when it went behind the counter). It'll pep you up but isn't an amphetamine, so it won't help with actual ADHD. The actual herb can be purchased in Chinese medicine shops in Thailand, maybe the pills too.

Anyone know about any good speakeasys? Obviously they aren't something that are widely advertised so maybe people don't want to post here, but I would still love to hear about a few if anyone has any guidance. Khao San is fun and all but I would love to explore some places the locals go to

Speak Easy is a place (bar) that is not that well known, maybe hard to find or hidden down an alley or an unimposing door. They use to be a way to get alcohol during prohibition in the US, now they are generally hiding craft cocktail bars.

For example, my related pic. You have to know the code to type into this pay phone, it changes every day, although it's apparently easy to get just by calling ahead. When you punch in the code to this payphone, the door to the bar swings open.

There is another I've heard about in Bangkok that has a big wooden door, but it's locked. You have to know that the whole wall slides open, the door doesn't open.

what's the actual point of this? Is it just to create some kind of "exclusive" flavour to the establishment? some sort of " sekret club" marketing?

Thailand during songkran is awesome, one year I hit up phuket, bangkok, and pattaya! Pattaya is nuts, they shut down the whole beach road and its jammed packed full of people its literally a huge party 24 hours a day for like a week. The problem is as soon as you leave your hotel your fucking drenched and they will wipe the baby powder shit on your face, at first its fun, but it gets old after a couple days. case in point, you wake up hung over and want to get a nice greasy english breakfast, leave the hotel jump on a motorbike taxi. before you can even start kids are shooting you with water guns, the entire road is lined with people who have bukets of freezing water just waiting to broadside a motorbike, its actually dangerous as fuck, hundreds of people die during songkran every year.
As for the addies, I thought they were banned in Thailand because they have such a problem with ice, I guess the reasoning was they dont want prescription uppers abused also.
I have had luck getting Valium and Xanax from the sellers on Sukumvit, ask the guys who are selling sex toys and porno movies, might have to ask a few but you should be able to find some, or some cheap Indian knock off, but it works.
It goes with out saying that if your going to try to be doing that stuff in Thailand make sure you have a few crisp hundred dollar american bills (or euros) so you can pay the "fine" on the spot, feign ignorance and be insistent that you want to pay the "fine" on the spot. Everyones iced out of their minds but they are real weird about drugs.

I also want to add that getting scripts isnt as easy as it used to be, yes there are some script docs in Pattaya on 2nd road, but they dont really have strong painkillers there, which is my drug of choice, even when i got a tooth pulled they gave me some tylenol 3's, like ten of them. Tramadols are the most common but I have heard alot of bad things about them (seizures, addictive, not worth it) I would take a nice oxycontin any day but they dont exist there, please someone prove me wrong!

Well these places are generally known for having amazing cocktails. A lot of times they are run by famous bartenders. For example, I have heard of one where you just tell them what type of liquor you want and if you prefer sweet/sour/bitter, etc, and they customize a drink for you, there is no menu.

From the businesses point, I'm not entirely sure what the point is, maybe it does draw people in, it does interest me. Most of them have locals who go back all the time, loyal customers.

Great post thanks for all the tips! I haven't been to Pattaya yet but was considering checking it out for a few days this time around. I have no plans to rent a bike during Songkran, I have heard how dangerous it is.

I'll try to contact the girl I met last time I was there who had xanax and adderall, maybe she could give me some tips on where she picked them up, I know it was somewhere in Bangkok.
