as far as amsterdam and berlin, I'm looking for street-food/cheaper local food recommendations, as well as live music venues (indie/punk/metal preferrably), not necessarily shows, but smaller playing throughout the week.

we're interested in doing some touristy things but don't necessarily need to spend all day in a museum. I'm more interested in historical/magnificent things that don't involve lines and taking up a big portion of our day. any recommendations?

I haven't done much research on prague so I'm flying blind a little bit. hows the english there? I'm planning on trying to learn a couple basic phrases/numbers to get by.

If you're into beer, for God's sake, above all else; GO TO BELGIUM. Between Edinburgh and Amsterdam. Nowhere compares for beer culture. In fact, go the Kulminator bar in Antwerp, or to t Brugs Beertje in Bruges. I'd recommend the Cantillon brewery in Brussels too.

Beer halls in Prague are atmospheric, but honestly the beer there is nowhere near so good

Fuck you guys and your "Europe trips". Europe might not be big in size, but Europe is fucking big in culture, history, architecture, different lifestyles, city and country life etc. etc., you Amerifags should focus on one or two countries in one trip instead of rushing through all the capitals.

Also, why start in Edinburgh, then travel all the way down, just to head back to London afterwards?
