You need a Bachelor's (or experience, but I have no idea if that's reliable) and a job related to that degree. Better if it is a Master's and you were not born in China or India. Then get hired (probably on a TN visa first) and get an H1B.

Medtech sounds like one of those degrees they have in the "start your career now" college commercials, in which case you're fucked. You can still get a job and visa, but keep in mind that if it's a job where plenty of Americans are available, the only reason they're hiring foreigners will be to pay shit wages.
