assuming you're in JFK airport.
take a taxi to the Genting Resorts World casino (4 miles away). It's not as nice as Las Vegas, but a good way to kill a few hours, also better food than the airport.
Take a taxi (or Uber of course) to Ganesh temple https://nyganeshtemple.org/directions/ (the canteen has great vegetarian food)
take a taxi to Americana Manhasset mall for some shopping.
Don't bother going to Manhattan - visit some other time when you'll be able to spend more time.
