Looking for an excuse to go to Croydon, is there anyone here

Where is this, why do you want to go there and why do you need an excuse?

Croydon is in London, I just want something to do when I am waiting in Croydon, wanting an excuse to do something is just a turn of phrase at least where I am from.

I just don't think the museum of Croydon will take me more than a couple of hours.

Get the tram to Addington (not the shithole that is New Addington): it's where PG Wodehouse used to play golf.

The Horniman Museum in Forest Hill (a few stops by train from West Croydon) may be worth a visit,

There's a nice old church, Croydon Minster, in the town centre, but otherwise it's pretty grim and dull

Most people are looking for an excuse to get out of Croydon

Croydon is barely London. Shit transport links, has the whole of south between it and the City.

If you want to be somewhere in south for cheap you don't need to go that far out.

Just move to a town with a direct train line to London. I live in Kent and central London is literally less than an hour away by train.

What you save in rent you can use for train fares. Plus you'll probably get a bigger place, in a nicer area.

Unless you're saying Kent is cheaper than Croydon though because I know the train from Croydon to Victoria only takes like 20 minutes
