Hey folks,
Would love some advice of course, any first hand experiences would be wonderful!
I am wanting to know about applying (a second time) for a working holiday visa for NZ. I first entered the country on a British passport.
I am thinking about getting an Irish passport and applying for another working holiday visa. Of course this will involve a couple of white lies on the form and me also shitting myself when trying to get into the country.
I plan to work the same job as I did before, name and everything will be the same, however, I won't be British I'll be Irish and have my Irish passport..
It would be a brand new Irish passport I would be arriving with and I'd be arriving from India, don't know if that makes a difference!
Anyone know what the deal is with this idea, is it possible? I'm sure someone has tried this before..
Thank in advance, peace!

Why would you get an irish passport if you have a british one? british one would just make it easier for yourself
Unfortunately in order to come back into the country for a second year on my British passport isn't that easy. I must have a full medical examination, proof from the employer they couldn't hire a NZ citizen and pay again.
It's much cheaper to come in on an Irish passport!
>name and everything will be the same
change the name in your Irish passport. At leat the spelling.
Anyway I think this should be doable.
How was the experience first time around? I just had my working holiday visa approved (danish citizen)
Only those who work in NZ immigration would know, and I don't think they would help you in this one even if they happen to lurk a Fijian grassweaving forum. They may or may not have systems in place to detect this. If you do get flagged for a closer look, you're fucked, since they will be able to pull your old passport copy, and see you are the same person. What kinds of systems they have in place for this I don't know. So maybe they will detect it, maybe not. Still it sounds risky. Maybe if you have a very common name it's safer, but I personally wouldn't risk it.

Maybe if he changed a middle name or something.
My experience in NZ was awesome that's why I want to go back so bad! :) you'll have a great time, everyone's super laid back and it's a very easy way of life, wish you all the best for your travels!
Guys really sorry about this but I'm new to 4chan and do not know how to reply...
Thanks so much for all the info, had a bad feeling about trying to slime in the country again on a different passport pretending it was my first time.
Thanks for helping me make my mind up!
Peace :)
