So I live in the Netherlands and in from the UK, both where I'm from and where I live have small airports that mainly fly cargo.
In the netherlands it's a 20 minute bike ride from my house and in the UK a 5 minute walk.
So cargo flights that take 55 minutes fly from here to there, so is it possible if I make a special arrangement I may be able to get on board?
tl;dr : can I fly on a short haul cargo flight? If so, how?
Should I just email them real nice?
That would be extremely unlikely anon.
Insurance
Aviation rules
Security rules
etc etc etc etc
Yes, my friend has done that many times

If you're in a third-world country going to another third-world country with very lax customs laws, you'll probably be fine.
However, anywhere in Europe, that includes the Balkans and Baltics, won't let you anywhere near a cargo aircraft.
This includes small/single cargo airliners all the way to the biggest cargo companies.
Issues faced will be:
> Aviation Security Laws
> ICAO Laws
> National Customs laws
> Diplomatic Clearance
> Insurance Policy
To re-iterate, doing it in Africa and Shithole areas of Asia will be fine. Doing it in Europe, no chance.
>both where I'm from and where I live have small airports that mainly fly cargo.
>2 small airports
sure there are cargo flights between the two all the time, mate!
