If you want to buy marijuana, go to a bar called Shotgun. Its quite a ways off from the normal touristy area near Old Town Square, so you'll probably need a cab or take an uber.

You'll have to ring a doorbell to get in.
Wait for the door to buzz.
As long as you don't look sketchy you'll be fine and you'll get let in.
Go to the bar and order a beer.
The bartender is kind of a douche, but make sure you buy a beer from him.
Tipping doesn't hurt either.
Then you can buy a bag of a few grams of decent weed from a bald guy sitting in the corner.
He won't sell to you until you buy a beer though.
You can roll and light up in the bar, everyone will be doing the same.
It felt really sketchy because I didn't know what to expect.
You can generally smoke pot on the street outside of bars, no one really cares.
Some bars will let you smoke inside, but others won't, so just go outside.
