Hi /trv/
I am going to travel across the world in this spring.
I was hoping that you lads could give me some tips and maybe some countries to visit.
Why are you skipping South Africa? Why do you take the advice of a bunch of /pol/ neckbeards who have never left their basements seriously?
If you are going to skip Africa I assume you might as well just go straight to South America from Oceania or vice versa.
With the exception of Russia and a few others, your path mostly goes through the relatively nice and 1st-world countries. Nice countries are boring to travel through. They're generally very similar to eachother, you can't get away with much, and also very expensive.
Go find the real shitholes with interesting cultures on each continent, go through those for the most part. That's what I just did for a year, wouldn't have changed a thing.

And I also don't understand why you have Argentina as your only destination in South America. There's plenty of more interesting stuff to see in the midwest of the continent imo. You have the north of Chile and Bolivia with a very interesting landscape (Atacama and salt flats) and Peru with its facinating Inca culture.
I was in all of those places last summer but didn't find Argentina to be worth the effort at all.

Take out Russia and Canada and ADD central and south america and I will take this adventure with you.
