I need to kill about 9 hours in San Diego this Friday while my friends are at work, or stay locked in their house until they get home. Normally I'd just find a beach bar and day drink and eat seafood, but I don't want to start drinking at 8 AM, since I'm pretty sure nothing will be open anyways, and we're supposed to hang out Friday night.
I'll have access to a car. Any suggestions?
