I have found rather conflicting information about the winters in Madrid online so I guess I'll turn to the most trustworthy source I know. 4chan.
I am planning to visit a few days - up to a week in Madrid late January and was wondering if the weather at that time could possibly make the trip less enjoyable.
Any other info or tips in regards to traveling to Madrid are also appreciated.
I went in January and it was bitterly cold ( around 0-3 deg ) until late in the morning but in the afternoon it warmed up and was quite nice, about 12-14.
I'm Aussie and it didn't bother me at all

Bumping as I'll be going in early February
I live in Madrid. I'll try to check the thread every once in a while.
Like >>1185098 said, you can expect temperatures around zero during the early morning but it should get close to 10 degrees in the afternoon. If you're from Germany this shouldn't bother you, just make sure not to come in shorts.
Toledo is a popular day trip from Madrid, it's a nice city just 45 minutes away. There are also some nice smaller towns around to see, but it depends on how much time you'll have here.
