Waiting to start my new job here in California, bored, long story short got the idea to save up money and travel to and live in Sweden for around 6mon-1yr in the future. Have fun, engage in Swedish nightlife, and most importantly mingle with gorgeous Swedish women. Anyway.
I have access to a euro passport, (Italy), so I figure that might make things easier. What I want to know, is if anyone else has done something similar and could share their experiences, and enlighten me as to how feasible such a thing is.
Cheers

Scandinavia is outrageously expensive.

lived in NYC before Cali, so, I'm familiar with living in an expensive place more or less

Err. Do you have any plan at all? It's easy feeling lonely if you dont have a proper plan coming to sweden. There will always be women here but I would get restless as fuck with your current plan. Any specific reason for Sweden? I could recommend The Netherlands and Belgium. Lots of foreign students come here and say "it's so hard making friends". Which is sort of true.

I've been to Stockholm multiple times and some various huge cities here in the states and the big cities in the states are more expensive. That's just compared to Stockholm though not sure about other cities.

I've been to Denmark twice, so I'm at least somewhat familiar with the general Scandinavian culture, I believe that helps, currently dating a Danish woman as well. I suppose you could say I just fell in love with Scandinavian culture and the people.

Sweden is amazing and definitely worth a visit. It's very chill though, little in the way of exciting nightlife but a lot in the way of food, gardens, museums and cultural sights.
