What is your preferred seat on a plane? Is there a difference between day and night flights?
Away from the bathroom is a must, also the emergency exit seat is goat but not necessary.

I prefer the aisle seat first, window seat 2nd, middle seat if I have no choice.
The aisle seat is better because you can get up to stretch your legs or go to the bathroom when you want. Also if you are sitting next to a whale, you don't feel claustrophobic

Economy, rows 54 55 in the back. Business class, the upper deck, as only a couple of seats and two bathrooms. However this is on a 747 and these are quickly dying out.
Airbus 380, they sometimes have a couple of economy seats in the upper deck all the way in the back
But when you fly economy on airbus a380 make sure its in the forward 1/3 of plane, they seem to run out of food choices farther back
Emergency exit is a must for the extra leg space. Ask for it at check in and they'll usually give it to you.

I usually get the ones marked as BC or HJ. Far away from the kids, far enough from the toilet, and only have to deal with 1 person.

Obviously on the rear end. Life is precious people.
Aisle seat if it's 12+ hours. I usually get up to piss or walk around constantly and I hate bothering people by climbing all over them.
Anything shorter than 5 hours doesn't really matter as long as there aren't children nearby. Nighttime flights are the same.
Aisle seat at an emergency exit near the back but not right next to the bathroom

On longer flights I go for an aisle seat but if it's just a few hours I like a window seat. On some of the smaller planes (some embraers, maybe others) they have 2 seats on one side and the other side is only one seat wide. I.e. best of both worlds. I love that shit.
Obviously nothing too far back as it increases wait time to get off the plane when you're further back. Most people avoid being seated near the bathrooms but it doesn't bother me personally.
