Taking 3/4 days off and i want to head over to montreal/quebec

What part of montreal is good for nightlife throughout the week? I was thinking of staying in the latin quarter but i really dont give a shit. Im going solo so i really want to just party like crazy with cute quebec girls without blowing my money on a hotel.

Side question, since im comming from ontario are there any spots on the way too montreal that i should hit up or are the other cities in quebec just sleepy small towns?
Just point me in the direction of girls with accents and no morals

Going Nov 2-4 or maybe 5th

Bend over and go to the gay street. You'll get plenty of le fuck.
>>
>>1174367
I made a thread about this a few days ago and everyone said those cities are terrible and not worth visiting.
>>
Fun, I''m taking 10/31 11/1 off to head to Niagara Falls from Montreal.
>>
>>1174367

from my experience it's hard to talk to people unless you speak french, they're snobby wannabe french pricks
>>
>>1174756
>they're snobby wannabe french pricks
Maybe if you can't stop acting like a retard in front of everyone else, like most anglo-canadians do.
>>
>>1174761

shut the fuck up frog
>>
>>1174770
I will when you and your countrymen stop being so stupid.
>>
>>1174756
Ive never understood this. Im a spic and i got along well with the french speakers, infact id go so far as to say they liked me and found me fun. Stop taking shit seriously and just throw whatever shit they say back at them. Give some banter and stop gettinf offended faggot.

Though that was in the summer i have no clue if quebecois are dicks during the colder months. Also expect alot of hot girls OP
>>
>>1174752
Niagara is a bit boring lad
>>
I'm a New Brunswick fag looking to head to Montreal solo sometime before Christmas for a week mainly for the GOAT French escorts.

Would appreciate some tips and advice. Fun stuff to do, socialize, degenerate things, where to stay etc..
>>
>>1174756
>wannabe french
If you're talking about Montreal specifically they're all actual french, though.
It's a fucking invasion.
>>
Let's get back on topic, shall we?

OP, the quartier latin (or anywhere close) is a great spot to stay. You can find some hostels in the area, but at this time of the year you might want to check out AirBnb and some hotels. You might be surprised how cheap some are.

Nightlife-wise, the quartier latin is very central too. Check out the bars on St-Denis, south of Sherbrooke St like Abreuvoir and St Sulpice. There are some cool spots a bit further north on the Plateau, check out St-Laurent just north of Sherbrooke after 11pm: Tokyo Bar, Cafe Campus, Blizzard, Blue Dog, Belmont, Apt 200, are just a few. I would also recommend venturing in the gay village - some clubs like Stereo Bar (or Stereo afterhour) are actually pretty amazing, and not gay. If you can handle seeing a few dicks you should go to Stock Bar on Wednesday night. It's laddies night and the girls can get pretty wild. Newspeak not too far from there is pretty good too, more of an underground club. Also check out SAT, they throw some great parties on some weekends too.

If you miss Ontario you might want to visit Crescent St but I find the clubs there to be filled with douche bags and very anglo. Some like it though.

Hi, Montrealer here. Don't listen to these two morons:
>>1174745

In regards to what >>1175217 said:
The Quartier Spectacles and Quartier Latin are both great, as well as Crescent south of Sherbrooke, but the real centre of Montreal's nightlife is the Plateau, namely on St. Laurent, Rachel, and Mont Royal.
Tokyo is kind of shit, though they have a nice terrasse (not much point at this time of year though), Cafe Campus is typical university clubbing, but Prince Arthur is currently getting ripped to shreds and repaved so you might not want to stand in gravel while waiting to get in. You will not get into Apt 200 unless you are either yourself a very attractive woman or are with very attractive women. SAT has a zombie-themed party this Saturday, so I guess you could check that out.

Check out TRH Bar if you're into skater chicks or are a skater. It's got a bowl inside.

>t. McGill student

>>1175223
What year are you?
>>
>>1175217
>>1175227

All good advice. I listed Tokyo but I'm not much of a fan anymore either. Could be fun for a visitor though.

Not sure what's difficult about getting into Apt 200. I go every week alone and/or with a friend or two, and we got nothing special helping our cause. Just dress nice (but not too nice) and don't show up at 2am, and you'll be just fine.

>>1175223
Curious what raves you're referring to? NCG doesn't qualify as one :)
>>
>>1175217
Thanks a ton, i screenshotted your post and will take it with me when i go. I ended up not being able to go saturday so im only there wed-friday so its a bit fucked. May return when i get more time

Aside from what you said are there any other places to hit up wed and thursday nights? I could have sworn i read somewhere that thursday nights in montreal are party nights but im not sure.
>>
>>1175227
Is there a good time to head over to montreal again in the next few months? My schedule opens up again and id love to visit again but at a more exciting time. Im honestly a huge fan of Quebecois girls , they blow ontario girls out of the water in terms of fun/fucking hotness. Where do university students party?
>>
>>1175250

Check out nightlife.ca and facebook events, that's usually where I find the more hidden events. The slightly unusual, underground events tend to be outside the downtown area though. On a Saturday night you should hit St-Laurent north of Sherbrooke. That's where the student crowd usually is. Good thing about Thursday night is that you avoid the suburb crowd, and it's definitely a party night.

>>1175251

If you come in the winter check out igloofest. Montreal en Lumière is also pretty good. I like mid-december too - that's when you'll find a lot of office parties (don't underestimate them) and students going out before bailing out to the hometowns.

University students usually end up at house parties, so try to meet people. Otherwise there's a ton of bar/clubs where you'll find them, just to many to list here.

See nightlife.ca , mtlblog, culmontreal.com...they're usually pretty up to date on what's going on
>>
>>1175262
You're a huge help man i really appreciate it. Just a quick question , what are office parties? First time ive heard of that
>>
>>1175238
Literally the only times I've gotten in were when I was with 6 girls on a Friday and then I think a Tuesday or something (some off-peak day when the bouncer was inside and letting everyone in). Otherwise my friends and I have always been turned away.

>>1175251
First year uni students generally go to clubs on St. Laurent, after first year though we just do house parties mostly.

I agree that Friday/Saturday nights at Apt200 can be difficult to get in. The line can be long too.

I usually just spot a group of girls about to get in and ask them if I can tag along, and I'll buy them a drink once upstairs and/or offer some cigs. Works every time. Just don't do this if you're not alone.

Great way to end up in a 3some too.
>>
>>1175268

Office parties = holiday parties, usually in December. Imagine a people who never go out getting drunk, usually without their significant other, with a bunch of coworkers. Probably the time of the year when most people end up cheating on their partner so it's a goldmine of opportunities.
>>
>>1175398
I worked in a Plateau restaurant for a while and we hosted a lot of office parties.
I've seen some shit.
>>
>>1175399

Like what?
>>
>>1175399
Which restaurant.
>>
>>1175493
Vomit absolutely fucking everywhere (especially in the ladies' room), people fucking in the stalls, middle-aged fat secretaries dancing and stripping on the tables, more out of place making out than in Chad Thundercock's wildest fantasies, catfights. Once my chef and I almost got in a fight with some dude because we had to walk near him to get the recycle bins out. Lots of crying fits.

Office people are fucking nuts.

>>1175499
I know /trv/ is pretty mild by 4chin standards but I'd still rather not say. All I'm gonna say it that was supposed to be a friendly and laid-back family restaurant.
>>
>>1175399
C'mon man, you can't leave us hanging like that.
>>
>>1175503
Heh, I hooked up with a Czech colleague of mine (she had gotten engaged only a month or 2 earlier) at our Xmas party. We
did the nasty
in a toilet stall. I quit that job a month later or so, but hey. At least I got a cool party out of it.
>>
>>1175504

Probably Buena Note on St Laurent. Sounds like a regular night there.
>>
>>1175524
Nah, not even remotely the same kind of place.
I'm sure this is small time shit compared to the Buona Notte. Office parties over there must be a sight to behold.
>>
>>1175398
If you're not a part of that comoany how yhe fuck do you become aware of the office parties?
>>
Is montreal even worth a visit ?
>>
>>1175955

You should probably just stay home.
>>
>>1175955
Honestly not at this point of the year. In the summer and in December/January it is.
>>
>>1174367
I went a few years back columbus day weekend with some m8s.
>stayed in hostel near bell center
>met a lot of people at hostel bar
>roamed the city by day and spotted places that looked promising while eating based montreal foods
>pregamed at the hostel and headed out into the night
>ate poutine every night
>on drunkest night stumble up the stairs and walk into the foot clan hangout (aka trash bar)
>fall in love with strippers

Overall, had a great time and would love to return. It's definitely worth checking out old montreal and the park and the markets during the day. I don't speak French but I had zero problems and no one gave me attitude even when I was a wasted piece of trash. The taxis suck but the metro is fine. Drink unibroue.
>>
>>1176111

Unibroue is owned by Saporo. Not exactly what people drink here.

Locals usually go for Belle Gueule, McAuslan or Boreale, which are all from here.

Euphoria and XO girls are the best 2 escort agencies in town.
200$ or so an hour. Stunning women that basically chose the profession because they really enjoy sex (and money).

You can do incall, they host in a luxurious condo in downtown. Perfectly legal
>>
>>1176150
>basically chose the profession because they really enjoy sex
Underage b&
>>
Fuck I'm getting nostalgic a bit.

I'm a native montreal who hasn't lived there since I was 22.

My advice to you, OP, is to try to go to the COOL bars - Apt 200 (though I've never been), Clebard, and a few of those ones. Look it up a bit, avoid the old shit places (St Sulpice, Crescent Street entirely, Cafe Campus, most of lower st laurent street).

There's a few really good places in the Old Port too.

AMA I guess
>>
>>1176161
Well let me put this way since you're probably a man;
Would you take up a job that pays 100k a year, grants you a ton of free time and the job is basically to fuck girls?

I know I would.
>>
>>1176099
Where do you go in montreal to find girls that are sluts? No prostitutes
>>
>>1176168
Thing is i went bald in the last year and have lost confidence. Dont think i could get any girls at a "cool"bar. I need to find insecure girls :^)
>>
>>1176175
>implying sex is the same for men and women.
>>
>>1176333

Just shut the fuck up kiddo, you have no idea what you're talking about. You don't even live here, you don't know these girls.
Have you ever encountered an unsatiable nymphomaniac women before? The pretty ones usually end up as high-class escorts.
This isn't some random thai girl working to support her family
>>
>>1176308
I personally don't, I've got a girlfriend.
However, I imagine most clubs would work though. My female friends have had a few hookups from going to Cafe Campus.
You could also try some of the more upbeat bars. TRH and Barfly come to mind.
>>
>>1176128
That's great but drink unibroue.
>>
So im finally in montreal now but i realized im quite a bit aways from downtown mont, should i bus or subway for these 3 days? Also where do ivgo so i dont seem like the loner creep at the bar
>>
>>1174367
Montreal is nicer than I expected.
They've cleaned the shit river too!
>>
highly recommend Montreal. Just went there in July and it was glorious
I recommend using Homeaway or Airbnb rather than a hotel
>>
>>1178143
Use Sonder. They used to be called Flatbook.
>>
>>1178132

It's all in your head. I go out alone in Montreal all the time. Just don't stay at the same place for more than two drinks unless you have a good reason to stay there.
>>
>>1174367

>tfw my visa for canada got refused
>a fucking visa to canada, a liberal's heaven got refused

Should I be worried?
>>
>>1178428

>>1178424
This. Nothing wrong with going out alone.
