Doesn't anyone from USA (east coast tri-state area preferably) want to travel the world starting September 2017 ? I want to get a small group of maybe 4 people to do a RTW trip with. Age range 24-31 years old. We would all collaborate together to come up with an itinerary and plan. I'm a nembie traveler that never even left the USA, and want to embark on this adventure. It would be cool if an experienced traveler wants to come along, but mainly looking for other newbies to share this with.

Define terms a bit. Do you mean buying 30 tickets on a flight, or buying 30 tickets for yourself on 30 different flights?

My memory is that you can indeed get deals for the former, I have no idea about the latter but it seems less likely.

Asking the airline would probably get you a definitive answer.
