Going to australia at january/february, any tips from AU anons?
Pack a few pair of togs, hire a car and just drive in any direction, thank the bus driver and ask how everyone is doing. Follow these basic tips and you'll be fine. If you have any specific questions i'd be happy to answer.
It will also be fucking hot mate

Depends where you hail from.

Assuming you are a pale fuck, you are gonna want to pack sunscreen. Preferably high SPF. And you are going to want to apply that pretty regularly, no matter where you are or what the weather is.
Trust the lifeguards, they know what they are doing. Stay between the flags, don't end up like the thousands of Chinese fucks who nearly drown.

Agreed on the hot part, last Jan/Feb we hit around 40 degrees Celsius. Make sure you carry something to hydrate yourself with or you'll pass out. Also bring shorts.
General courtesy; be polite, don't try and mock the stereotype, we'll mock ourselves for you if we are so inclined.
Be both enamored and afraid of the Aboriginal people. They know the land like the back of their hands, but try to avoid them when they aren't 'looking so hot'.
Also from a NSW anon, avoid South West Sydney, and most of the towns further inland. Some are lovely, but otherwise you're playing with bogans and meth.

Where are you from and what are you going to see?
