great to go to if you stay at one of the nicer hotels just do everything in and around the boardwalk and those outlets by the entrance to the city. Not much else outside of the beach area

I consider myself fairly well traveled and I was generally disgusted at how lame and how much of a fucking dump AC was when I visited there in 2012. And that was before all the casinos went bankrupt if I remember.

You get the sense that the entire place is run down as fuck, with these massive towering dilapidated casinos that are either empty or nearly empty.

I read somewhere they don't even have a single supermarket because nobody actually lives there.

It's like taking the worst parts of america and concentrating them down until they are pure, unadulterated cancer.
