Don't look like a tourist, you're gonna get robbed. Don't buy cocaïne, there's a chance that it's white heroin, people died from that stuff. If you still do decide to take drugs, do stuff like xtc. Quality is really high and you can get it legally tested in a hospital.

Try to meet people in hostels, we dutchies can be quite rude.

And visit other places in the Netherlands. If you want to visit a place with an awesome nightlife go to Groningen or Breda.

Don't rent a car, public transport brings you everywhere and it's not that expensive. Renting a car is... There's also no such thing as an unlimited milage.
