Have you ever travelled by camping wherever you could? I was thinking about that. I am perfectly brave enough to try that, but I don't know how practical that is. Is it a thing? Do people do that?
I don't intend to camp every night, but It'd be a pretty funny experience.
Sure.
Just don't get caught and it's all good.
Plenty of times with a tent, but 95% of the time at a camping. Having to shit in the bushes is where I draw my line of minimum comfort.

I know here in Canada it's legal to camp anywhere on crown land for up to a month and then you have to move (you can literally move five feet though, it's just to stop people from setting up permanent dwellings.

Yeah sure. A basic dome tent is like 30 USD and you can strap it to your backpack pretty easily. Just don't be a dipshit and set up in a public park or right at a roadside and you'll be OK. I just slept on my clothes but you could always get a scrunchable foam mat from a camping store for like 100 bucks if you wanna be comfy.
The longest I lived in a tent was 3 weeks when I was homeless in Thunder Bay and it honestly wasn't bad, you just gotta find a good spot where nobody will fuck with your shit.
Don't plan to go more than 10-15 days because sometimes life is hard out there. I went 10 days in novia scotia/cape breton national Park and it was awesome.
