I am looking to rent a room but most of what I find are the regular boring places, square with white walls and bedrooms as big as prison cells.
Do you have any ideas for alternative living spaces?
I can't think of a place that can include a shower and kitchen. Some sort of office maybe? Is it even legal to live somewhere that it is not a regular apartment?

Its probably against the letting agreement, so yeah. But it would depend on the contract, however...

£420? Nah, you're not going to find anything nice for that sort of money. The best you can hope for is somewhere clean in a safe neighbourhood.
