Hi guys, I'll be going on a vacation to Ontario, Canada

Killarney is one of my favourite places in the Georgian Bay area, so that could be cool to check out if you have time.

On your way to Ottawa stop by Kingston, which has a pretty comfy downtown, a beautiful university campus, and an old military fort. It's a nice place to stop for the day or if you stay longer is a nice base to explore the countless nearby waters/islands from.

Niagara / Canada first timer here, visiting October. Recommendations on nightlife? I prefer bars / pubs (live music is good esp. blues) over nightclubs, and seeing as I am travelling alone it's easier to meet people that way. Also I don't mind Ubering to another town if it's worth it.

The area by the falls, where your hotel likely is, is just a tourist trap, mostly family oriented nowadays. They also take advantage of the fact that most Yanks don't know the value of the Canadian dollar and bilk you accordingly. Expect the standard tourist trap stuff like arcades, T shirt shops, mini golf, and wax museums.

Dragonfly is an OK club, but it's expensive and has a lot of brown people/Asians. Any other club is absolute trash. If you like craft beer, good food and live music check out Taps on Queen on the local drag (queen Street). It's a lot less crowded and the area is sketchy but you'll have a great night out for half the cost of Clifton Hill. Best place in town and outdoor festivals most weekends. Down the street is Grand Central, which is a generic sports pub, probably your best bet for getting laid. Locals are pretty trashy so watch who you mouth off to though. Niagara Brewing Company is also pretty good for craft beer, it's still in the tourist district. Spice is across from the casino and while it's expensive ( as in $15+ per drink) it has great jazz and live music. Only high roller tourists go there though...

St. Catharine's (the next town over) has a large student population so obviously there's more clubs and bars to go to. Gords is the best patio, Sutra is the best club. It's not a huge town but big enough to have a night life Saturday night.

All I can tell you is that a tornado ripped through Oshawa a couple of days ago and honestly, the place looks better than ever. Sorta like when a fire guts a crackden.
