Argentina is boring, but has better food, and if you're attracted to spinners more attractive women.

Chile has a more stable political system and economy
My company always has problems getting paid by argies due to currency controls, not so with the Chileans

What business does your company deal in?

Chile, definitely. It's noticeably richer than argentina, and doesn't seem to be suffering the same economic turmoil. At leat that was my perception from a week in both countries, whatever that's worth

Nothing relevant to this thread. We have minimal business in that part of the world so it's not a huge sample set but no one else has this much trouble paying us

It's really easy to move between the two countries, so you can easily visit Iguasu Falls/Salta/Lake district in Argentina even if you're living in Chile.
Argentinian food is a lot better and the cities are livelier. Buenos Aires, my friend and I decided, was a lot prettier and exciting than Santiago.
Chile has a much lower inflation rate than Argentina, so if you are going to get paid in the local currency I would choose Chile. if not choose any

expatriate to Chile and just take a vacation to Buenos Aires every once in a while
