What are the best cities in the world to party?
And what are some of the go-to clubs in them?
Montreal is the city that never sleeps. Or I guess not until 3 am. Pretty dope. Crescent, Saint-Catherine's, Saint-Denis area is real fun with lots of bars, clubs, and strippers
Manhattan, but be mindful of anywhere outside of maybe central or downtown, as those are areas of the city that definitely DO sleep.
I've heard San Francisco isn't too bad.
Berlin, Berghain. Say what you want against. Raving there is magical.

Is the exclusivity what makes people love it so much? Growing up in punk gigs where the focus is on being inclusive, that just sounds so hostile and unfun to me

Unless you're gay the entire city of San Fran is basically dead after 8
Smartbar in Chicago. (The house scene is a little tuckered out in Chicago, but it is vibrant at smart bar. There are world-class queer nights as well, and Derrick Carter is a resident here).
Output in New York.
Berghain in Berlin.
Womb in Tokyo (actually there are a ton of good clubs in Tokyo, and they're all tiny due to zoning laws so they all have an intimate vibe)
Stockholm has some great clubs, or so I've been told. It's expensive, though. There were some happening clubs in Hong Kong along Lan Kwai Fong if you want Chinese pussy.
Depends what you're after really...
Berlin, London, Barcelona, NYC... + Moscow is meant to decent, never been though.

Buenos Aires, Argentina, is pretty live.
Las Vegas clubs are in a world of their own. XS, Marquee, Hakkasan, the extravagance is mind-blowing
