Hey I'm moving to Russia (specifically Moscow) and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on living in Russia. also I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Russia's dual citizenship policy.
Feel free to ask any specific questions.
Why are you moving there?

I'm moving there cause I travel there a lot to visit some of my friends and I've decided just to move there because I travel there literally so much and I already got a job lined up.

I really don't got any specific questions I was just wondering about how people like living in Russia. What all is there to do? What's the culture like? Like I've been before a lot but I've mostly done tourist shit and I wondered what things are there to do and what are tips on how to fit in ?
Can you read Cyrillic and speak basic Russian? If not, learn. You'll need it badly.
I recall that Russia will not allow you to gain Russian citizenship without giving up your old citizenship.
I lived in Russia for a year (Samara to be exact) so if you have questions about living in Russia for an extended time, don't be shy to ask.

Asian and barbaric country. Pros are very beautiful girls and cheap medical services (eg dentists). Cons are everything else. People do not know how to behave. Dirty, shit quality food and goods, salaries lower than Chinese ones. Government aimed at making ussr 2.0. Economy in ruins. Everything else aside Moscow and St Petersburg is a typical commieblock garbage. As I said, Asian and barbaric. Why would you want to go there?

Sure 3 years living abroad elevates you from the flock by so very much.

Every single talking point is literally a quote from the media, it doesn't take living in Russia even one day (let alone 24 years) to arrive at this valuable (not really) knowledge.

Rusfag here(though not born in Russia). Stay in Moscow or St. Petersburg. Otherwise, it sucks ass. No exceptions.
It's also more dangerous than you're typically used to if you're a Westerner.

Oh, and BTW, if you go to prison, you're worse than dead. Keep a low profile.
Hey don't mean to hijack, but was considering doing a year of Russian courses in Russia. Only costs like $3000 USD right now, but I don't know much Russian.
Anyone know if it's worth it?
My credits transfer so I can finish my degree there as well.
